Clare’s Law

Clare’s Law, formally known as the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS), gives you the right to ask the police whether your current or former partner has a history of abusive or violent behaviour. You can also raise concerns if you believe someone you know may be at risk. Find out more about Clare’s Law, your Right to Ask and Right to Know, and how the scheme can help keep people safe.
