Our 1:1 school support sessions provide children affected by domestic abuse with a safe, confidential and nurturing space to talk, be heard and feel understood. Delivered through 30-minute weekly sessions over six weeks, our child-centred approach helps children explore their feelings, build confidence and self-esteem, develop healthy coping strategies, and understand that the abuse they have experienced is never their fault. We give children the tools, understanding and reassurance they need to feel safer, stronger and more hopeful about their future, helping to break the cycle of abuse, one child at a time.
Our therapeutic and wellbeing workshops provide an opportunity for children to engage with us in a creative environment and talk about their experiences and emotions.
We are excited to be able to offer a new programme that we have written for Teenagers! The programme is suitable for neurodiverse teens, and is written in collaboration with teens for teens
“Know my Worth” will be piloted over the next few months. This is an interactive programme to help teens understand the signs and effects of Domestic Abuse. The aim is to help them achieve happy and balanced relationships, along with knowing that they deserve to be treated with respect as well.
