Childs Vision Featured in Gambit Insurance Charity Spotlight

We’re delighted to share that Childs Vision has been featured in Gambit Insurance’s Charity Spotlight series, giving us the opportunity to share more about our work supporting children and young people affected by domestic abuse.

The Charity Spotlight series showcases the important work carried out by charities and provides a platform for organisations to share their experiences, achievements and advice.

In the feature, Rachael Hudson, Founder of Childs Vision, talks about the charity’s work, including our 1:1 school support sessions, Children’s Freedom Programme, teenage support programme and Toy Bank.

Rachael also reflects on some of the achievements we’re particularly proud of, including receiving the King’s Award for Voluntary Service during the first year of His Majesty King Charles III’s reign. This recognition was a wonderful achievement for the whole Childs Vision team and acknowledged the commitment and dedication of our volunteers.

The feature also highlights our new teenage programme, Know My Worth, which we have recently piloted and are looking forward to delivering more widely from October.

There are many ways people can support Childs Vision, from volunteering with us to taking part in fundraising activities such as sponsored walks and marathons. As Rachael explains in the feature, one of the most important lessons from our journey has been simple: keep going.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Gambit Insurance for featuring Childs Vision and helping us raise awareness of the work we do.

CHANGE A CHILD’S LIFE TODAY

Child’s Vision was set up to help and support children that have witnessed or have been affected by domestic abuse. We have a background working with those affected by domestic abuse and found that there were not enough resources around to help children. We offer a Children’s Programme, 1-2-1 school support and wellbeing workshops.
